Awful Stay!! Very Disappointed!
I hate to leave bad reviews, but I also want to be honest about my hotel experiences. I travel a lot. Sadly, this hotel stay was terrible from the start. We arrived to a room that was not properly cleaned. There were crumbs on the floor & desk. The carpet was damp and smelled like dirty, wet laundry. Our tv, refrigerator, microwave and outlets on one side of the room did not work. Maintenance was called to fix it, this took about 2 hours. We were never offered to switch rooms. We had to wait until the issue was resolved before we could leave our room for dinner.
This was supposed to be a smoke free hotel, I was told this included vaping. However, someone was vaping from their balcony and it reeked! On our 2nd night we were awakened to the fire alarm going off around 1:00 am, for no apparent reason and then again at 5:00 am. The front desk staff said he didn’t know what was wrong, but there was no fire.
Our sink was stopped up and would not drain properly when brushing our teeth and the shower drain was so full of hair that it was completely clogged. I stood in water up to my ankles while showering with barely any water pressure.
The front desk attendant, Danielle, was EXTREMELY rude and nonchalant when I asked about the fire alarms. I politely expressed my dissatisfaction over the cleanliness of our room, to which she responded, “I’ll have someone look into it.” No apology, no smile, or emotion, just horrible customer service. Safe to say, we will not be back.
