The hotel itself was clean but the “heated” pool was cold, the bed was absolutely terrible and the elevator was 6 months out of inspection on the certificate inside the actual elevator. They told us it wasn’t out of inspection, but why was the certificate never updated. My husband and I checked out after 1 night that was supposed to be a 4 night stay. I did not expect a full refund, as we had stayed a night and leaving early I would even agree I could owe an extra day. But I feel I could have been refunded for 2 nights. I have tried multiple times to speak with the manager, but he was never “available” and hasn’t returned any calls. I decided it wasn’t worth my aggravation to continue trying. We were actually not the only people to check out early. As we were checking in an older gentleman told us he was very angry and leaving because the place was a “dump”. We still checked in for the night, and while I wouldn’t call it a dump, it had its issues. It’s a shame really because the room itself was really nice, but the bed definitely needs replaced/upgraded. While this isn’t the most expensive hotel, it isn’t cheap either that I felt like the beds should be a little better than what they were. I wish this could have been handled better than my having to leave a negative review, but it is what it is.
