Clean, fresh with great food and staff
Pros :
Great welcome from Jack. Shown to room 3 which was a double en-suite. Perfectly adequate for us. Nice clean bedding and a clean shower and wc. The room was tastefully decorated with quality furnishings. A small compact room with a well stocked tea tray.
The weather was lovely so it was great to open the window fully for a nice breeze.
All the towels were fresh and nice and thick. Soaps, shower cap and body wash all supplied.
Easy parking with a nice outside garden area which we enjoyed sitting in the sunshine with family.
Compliments to the chefs here. Pork belly bites particularly good. All the dishes we enjoyed and again, the mince and onion pie of the day was lovely.
A very nice breakfast with good quality ingredients too.
Cons:
Nothing to complain about but just a couple of things to mention.
The shower cubicle is very snug.
The green light on the ceiling was very bright at night.
Flat batteries in the tv remote so it wouldn’t work. Not really an issue as we stayed just the one night.
To summarise: Every member of staff we were served by were so lovely and professional. We will most certainly return when back in the area. Thank you
