Our stay was overall pretty good. One day as I left the room I did have a toilet malfunction and water on its own overflow. Maintenance immediately came up but he vacuumed the water and wiped with towels and exposed of the water into the bathtub, very unsanitary. I requested to be moved to another room and they did oblige but I had to wait for hours which stopped my day for a few hours as I had to repack and wait for call new room was ready. Everyone that works there seems to be immune to the Jamaican Heat so they didn't utilize all the space fans inside their work zones so left patrons hot when visiting certain desk. Room service always seemed to forget something so order extra, $10 charge per visit to room plus tip if you tip, I do. All the staff and I mean all were extremely courteous and helpful. Tenese Lawernce is with the concierge team and was very helpful. I had special things planned and she took care of all of them seamlessly. I did a beachfront dinner, birthday cake room decor, and a private fire dance on the beach. She took care of all things with zero hiccups. I booked 2 rooms 1 was a 1 bedroom Ocean view and the other was junior suite, I requested an upgrade on the junior suite and was hoping for a complementary upgrade as I did spend a boat load of "extra" money at the resort on private events as it is customary most times. I did have to pay for my upgrade which sucked but at least they allowed me to do it.
