We stayed for 1 night with our 3-year old and had booked a Triple Room. To our surprise we were upgraded to a Family Suite which was fantastic. The rooms a very well furnished, clean, light colors (mostly white), and we had a super large double bed in one of the rooms.
The hotel is situated in a courtyard and therefore quiet due to the lack of street noise. The breakfast was served in an adjacent building. The coffee was filter coffee, not great but not too bad either. The selection of the breakfast was not overwhelming, some fresh fruit, eggs, sausages, fresh cheese, cereal, bread rolls, toast, 2 kinds of (bottle) juice, tea etc. Nothing extra-ordinary.
The service was good: we asked for a specific restaurant and the staff was happy to help, order a taxi etc. Unfortunately there were no maps available for Tirana but we were given GoogleMaps printouts, which was just fine. If you want to go to Blloku where many restaurants, cafes and night clubs are, it's a 5-10 minute Taxi ride or a 20-30 minute walk (be aware that you have to cross downtown and if you don't want to walk along big, noisy streets it's quite a challenge to find your way through the narrow, crooked streets in downtown Tirana). Very close to the city center (10 minute-walk).
Overall, we would choose this hotel again and recommend it highly.
