Cordial staff, good welcome, swift check-in. Room size and amenities are pretty standard. Minor irritants, like non-working power points, jammed door locks, bathroom lock not working, creaky wooden floor - nothing that will make you regret, but will slightly inconvience you. Otherwise has evetything you expect - decent beds, fridge, tv, standard channels (incl. good variety of kids' channels), tea/coffee, toiletteries, wifi etc.
Room service/ restaurant menu is very limited, and half of that menu is not available at any given time. But they have a buffet, which I haven't tried, so no comments. There are no decent eateries nearby, specially if you are limited by Indian food. Overall, I felt it was slightly over priced but looked among the best 3* Thimphu has to offer.
