A small, cozy hotel, with character that feels more like a guesthouse than a typical hotel. From the lobby's cat and bridge over the fish pond, to the signed portrait of Thich That Han, to ancient motorbikes that adorn each floor's landing, The Queen reflects the personality of its owner and feels like a guest house, rather than a modern hotel. Its a throwback to the era before corporate standardization, hospitality degrees and muzac. Located in the heart of Old Hanoi, iy has become my go-to spot,, though my company would happily put in any of the major hotel facilities.
