We booked a room for 2-nights, 3 adults, fully paid online as it was a booking condition, 3-weeks prior to our arrival. I habitually screenshots every steps & photos of the room during hotel booking process. This booking with Etap Mola Hotel through “Hotels.com” suppose to come with 1 single bed, 1 double bed & a sitting area with a coffee table as shown in the photos while I made the booking. However, we were given a room with a double bed as the receptionist later claimed that only 2-persons were present when we checked in. We reasoned to her that as we booked and paid for 3 persons, the hotel should assigned room as advertised or committed, they can’t just short change us in room size & space due to one of our family member was unable to be present at the time of checking-in. Told her it was the same everywhere else that I booked before as a frequent single traveller, booking double room for the extra space & comfort only for myself! After the reasoning, the next day, we moved to a 3-bedders room, with no double bed nor a sitting area with coffee table as advertised. Really upset with this hotel that they are not keeping what had been promised in their advertisement via “Hotels.com”.
