After contacting the phone number provided for this booking, we spoke to Mario’s wife. We were to meet at the pharmacy at Campo San Polo. We headed on foot from the train station with map in hand, but needed to ask for directions several times. So we were late, but still greeted warmly by a very mice lady named Vicky, who took us to the apt. down a quiet, narrow alleyway. She answered all our questions in broken English and with hand gestures. The apt is just as pictured: small but functional and comfy, including washer and dryer. We stayed for 3 nights and found it to be a good central location. A tip we found useful to find our way back to Campo San Polo was to follow the “alle Ferrovia” signs on buildings when in Rialto/San Marco areas. This pretty much worked every time. We really enjoyed our stay here.
