I strongIy recommend you avoid this place! I had a very bad experience here.
I knew the desk closed early 9 pm according to what i received from orbitz), so I emailed to tell them I would be arriving late. didn't hear back but assumed it would be okay (my first mistake). My flight got in at 8:10, there was a long line to get a taxi and it took me 45 minutes. I arrived at the Greenwhich at 9:15. No one answered the bell, no one answered the phone. I was stuck on the sidewalk with all my luggage and no where to go in a mainly residential area. After 1/2 hour I started walking and a kind locall resident took pity on me and helped me find a hotel, which turned out to be very nice and the staff couldn't have been kinder.
I went to the Greenwhich the next day to tell them what had happened, thestaff person said they had emailed me at 5pm with late check in instructions and therefore I would be charged full price for the night. When I explained that I was on an airplane at 5 pm and then came as soonas the plane landed, his response was too bad, we tried to reach you. he hust kept saying we emailed you so youhave to pay for the room.
Not once did he say he was sorry I was left standing outside the bjuilding and had to walk around until i found a hotel, which was after 11 pm. If they had at least had a bit of sympathy for what I went through it would have been a little better but there was nothing at all, hence my recommendation .
