"Spacious apartment. Good connections for excursions in the area of Baie de Somme. Right next to the old town of Abbeville for a coffee on the terras or a baguette from the local bakery. Indoors the résidence it is quite warm, probably why it is a retirement home. All-in-all recommended."

"The staff here are really fantastic. Excellent communication prior to our arrival and they allocated the room early and left out key in a keysafe for our later arrival. The room was very comfortable and lovely and warm when it was storm Benjamin outside! The bathroom was very clean with a lovely hot shower. We enjoyed the breakfast overlooking the airfield prior to our departure. This hotel is very convenient for the motorway and local area. We will definitely be back as this is an ideal stop...

"They say first impressions count... I chose the Kyriad in Poulainville based on the hotels proximity to Amiens. When arriving it was a number of minutes before the reception staff answered the bell which I had to hit twice for attention. As this was a Road Trip, I had a number of bags and asked if a luggage trolley was available to be told not by the chap on the front desk. (See final words) We were then told the restaurant next door was closed but food was available to be ordered and either...

It just was not what we envisioned when we booked. The rooms we reserved were clean (two triples), the linens were clean, and the bathrooms were clean. "Although the landlady did all what was possible, the description on Hotels.com of the accommodation offered was highly misleading. Firstly, it is not a hotel, so the reservations are not monitored, and thus our arrival at the doorstep of the house was completely unexpected. Despite the system accepting a booking online, you need to ring to check if anybody is home. There are simple rooms available in an annex building, which are basic (eg. no TV, or other comforts), it seemed suitable for summer...
