The room was nice enough but it was a little warm, the air conditioning didn’t appear to be working. The bar staff in the evening were not good, 4 young lads laughing and joking and not really paying attention to the customers. One of them was more concerned in getting a phone number off a young girl than serving me. I put an amount of pre-authorisation on my card which I always do just to be told that wasn’t working so had to pay anyway. Then they told me my drink was on the bar, pointed to my cocktail that was placed in front of another customer, I had to ask him if he minded moving so I could get my drink.
Then at breakfast was also another member of staff that didn’t represent you well. I hadn’t pre-booked my breakfast as the receptionist told me just to turn up if I wanted it. The person that greeted me was clearly annoyed that I hadn’t booked, shaking his head and complaining under his breath. Overall I think the staff here could do with some customer service training, I’d expect more from a brand like Mariott.
