Good Location
I actually stayed at Gravity Haus in Truckee for 4 nights. The beds were extremely comfortable as were the pillows. We had the bigger room with a pullout twin which I used when I couldn't sleep due to my spouse snoring. It was fairly comfortable but better for small women or children.I thought the amenities were decent but obviously eco-conscious as they did not supply any paper towels or napkins in the kitchenette. I found a used or "recycled" sponge for my use next to the dish detergent. The rooms were in different buildings, lots of stairs. The noise from the parking lot would wake me up every morning. The noise from the other rooms and hallway could be disturbing as well. Restaurant looked nice but did not serve lunch or later breakfast. We were supposed to stay 5 nights but had to check out a day early. I cancelled the last night within 48 hours however-- 72 hours--I found out --was the deadline according to the hotel cancellation/change policy. My last night was not refunded which was rather harsh.
I was very disappointed in Hotels.com support the day I tried to reach customer service. Since they are now part of the Expedia conglomerate, the customer service has gone down considerably. I was actually disconnected 2 or three times when I sought support because I could not type in the itinerary number fast enough for the robot. In the end when I finally spoke with a human he told me it was up to the property to refund the cancelled night not hotels.com.
