Disgusting
I am extremely disappointed the first room the bathtub was filthy and had hair in it and ac didn't work, the moved us to another room and it smelled like cat pee it was awful, they moved us yet again and the room was still terrible but we just took it, the smoke alarm was not even there and room was dirty and smelled old. Not happy at all with the hotel. Also the elevator was not up to code and should be reported

LaQuinta Miami Lakes
Our room was clean and acceptable but my daughters had to change their room twice due to cleanliness and smell. Hotel needs a refresh. Elevator is totally not legal. No inspection update in elevator. Door not wanting to open. Doesnt have lights showing what floor you are on. We always stay in LaQuintas over the state and have never been disappointed.

Hotel antiguo con personal muy servicial
El personal es muy amable, creo son cubanos, pero el hotel es algo antiguo en sus instalaciones. Cuando estábamos desayunando, por el vidrio en el exterior, asomó una rata. Lo reportamos y luego tuvimos que irnos a otro hotel, vimos que había un gato plomo, tal vez para ahuyentar al roedor, ya no nos dio ganas de utilizar la piscina por obvias razones. Es un hotel con instalaciones antiguas, las camas no son las mejores pero están aceptables.

Cockroaches & Filth
It’s unclean. The carpet was filthy and coming up from the ground around the edges. There was an obvious hole between the air conditioner, carpet, and wall. The shower faucet was halfway off. And I had to kill a cockroach that was crawling on the bed. After check-in, the housekeeper attempted to enter the room to put back the trash can. However, when I met her at the door she was coughing and sneezing —clearly sick—while handing it to me. The common areas appear fairly clean. And the staff was friendly. I was concerned about the locking mechanism and ended up putting a chair under the door for added security. Not that it matters, but clearly they tried to do some shoddy upgrades such as paint, but failed to use covers so paint splatter was on the lamp and nightstand; just more cause for the state of the hotel.

The carpets were extremely dirty and with bad smell. The bathroom needs renovation. The worst was that around 4 am you could hear the next-door couple having sex. I had 2 teenage girls in my room. I would never stay in this hotel ever again. I felt like I was in a cheap motel! For the price of $364 for 1 night...

The 1st room has issues with the TV so I was moved to a different one. The 2nd room had only barely tepid water in the shower. I told the front desk about this 2x's but the issue was not resolved before I checked out. The staff was generally friendly.
