I arrived at 12:30ish. Called ahead of time to ask for possible early check-in. "Yes, of-course." When I arrived, "We're sorry, check-in is at 3:00."
At 2:00 I asked again if the room was ready. "Sorry, it's not ready yet."
Then, conveniently at 3:00, "Sir, your room is ready!"
They then take you via golf cart to your room, which is so far away from every amenity on the property. As I'm there, the cleaning staff was at the same building. I asked them if they had just finished... she replied that she cleaned it herself about 2 hours ago.
I booked a "Bay view room", and the view is the top of a bunch of trees and a touch of water. Comical to say the least. SO, I would recommend booking a room that is close to the office because that is where everything is. The bay view is NOT worth the 10 minute walk in the heat and humidity to go eat or go to the pool. Also, you have the odor of B.O. around the restaurant because everyone broke a sweat walking to get there.
The second day, nobody went to my room to refill the drinks in the room fridge. When I called and asked, "Someone is on their way." Nobody ever showed up. So I walked to the front desk and asked if I could get a few drinks from the market since nobody came to refill my drinks. "You have to pay for the drinks from the market." When asked if I could get the drinks from them while I was standing there, "No, we cannot."
When leaving, be sure to call for the golf cart well in advance because it took him about 40 minutes.
