In a Beautiful small town. Reasonable distance from NYC. Great to relax after the overwhelming NYC. The hotel is classy and comfortable. The lobby is huge and elegant , It’s clean but old. their carpet a bit dated but they are not dirty. The staff are nice. Parking lot huge. Steps to a beautiful small Catholic Church. I love this old friendly hotel, not those corporate boring big chain hotels.

Check in was easy and staff was kind. Bathroom was kind of dirty, stains on carpet. Beds were comfy. But beware - our room was soooo hot. Windows don’t open and the cooling systems didn’t work. Am they gave us a box fan but it was ROUGH. None of us slept well. We won’t stay here again.

Would not recommend staying at this hotel. The decor and general public areas are tired, not updated and not so clean. Furniture is cracked or dented or chipped. There is good hot water pressure in shower however. Bathroom hasn’t been updated but decent. Staff are courteous. Plenty of parking but main issue is cleanliness.

Convenient to the Area

Nothing fancy but very convenient for the immediate area. Courteous and professional staff, quiet neighborhood, easy parking, a couple blocks from a shopping street that includes a diner and CVS.. Nice neighborhood for walks, and a small park nearby (past the gas station, up the hill) for a short walk.
