We came to Crosslake for the Winterfest. Nicest hotel we have stayed in for a long time. Very clean. Adequate breakfast. Easy checkin and check out. Clean pool and hot tub area. All equipment worked. Highly recommend. Liked the north woods theme.

Great stay

Our one night stay was great. Staff were friendly, pool and hot tub were wonderful, enjoyed a walk in the nearby campground. Breakfast was ok, nothing fancy but enough for us. Our only trick was figuring out how to turn the shower on! Lol. Ask the front desk. Has a great golf course close but it was a windy day so we passed. Great puzza place across the street too. Would stay again.

Cute little lodge

CUTE, RUSTIC AND lodge like. The rooms are simple..but have everyting you need. Bed was comforable..pillows were a bit flat but they give you two so that's nice. Staff was great.. we needed to leave early due to weather and they refunded the last night. Coffee pot in room. You can cook waffles if you want for breakfast. Pool was being repaired but looks nice. Saw 4 deer run through the property one morning. Walking distance to town square..near some very good restaurants..try the Walleye tacos at Andys Bar and Grill. Yum. Will definitely stay again.

Room was run down, Refrigerator was removed. Marks on furniture. Black mold around ceiling in the pool room with parts of the ceiling missing and partially falling in. Carpets throughout looking dirty and warned.

We stayed at this property a few years ago and were absolutely satisfied with this property. However, this time we had a very disappointing time! We checked in later after 6 pm or later. On checking in to our standard room we found that we had no refrigerator or microwave in the room and was told standards didn't come with them. What was most disappointing was that we could not get the TV to work. All we wanted was standard television channels! We went back to front desk and had help from lady at the front desk but she couldn't get it to work either. The TV was switched out from one of the other rooms which TV didn't work either. Finally, after 9 o"clock at night the front desk called to offer another room. By that time we were getting ready for bed and declined having to move to another room at that point.

We loved everything about it but the beds were very uncomfortable! We tried both queens in our room, both felt very worn, sagging in the middle.

Easy parking and check in, nice staff, nice breakfast, pillows and bed were not all that comfortable.

Nice hotel but not for breakfast

Quiet, nice location and close to sister and her husband in assisted living across the way. Only bad thing is the breakfast….there really isn’t much and what the have is prepackaged. Coffee is horrible.
Jim, 3-night trip

6/10 Good

This is a decent place. Rooms were clean, staff was helpful and friendly, pool and hot tub were open, standard hotel breakfast. But the pool and hot tub were a bit dirty, the ceiling is t in great shape in the pool area, and our room did not have a refrigerator, though there was an obvious spot where one is supposed to be. Owners just need to reinvest in their property.
Josh, 1-night trip

The room was very mildew smelling, and felt damp, the breakfast options were not great, the only real warm choice was to make a waffle, which is great if you don’t have food allergies!

Not worth the money anymore-

I was married here in 2016. Since then, the property has shown wear and lack of care. The wife and I brought our 2 young kids for a weekend getaway for something different. I was going to have one of my kids sleep on the pull-out couch to find the mattress with a pee stain that had to come from an adult, it was huge, so they slept on the cushions. The drain stopper in shower had to be propped up with a Styrofoam cup in order for all water to drain. The tv remote batteries were dead and had to go down and get new ones. Also the 9v battery in the smoke detector seemed strong but started beeping. After looking at it farther, it was from 2006 and had to deal with that. The pool room is dark, and pool looks like it needs to be cleaned, hot tub water was frothy, and sauna smelled like pee.The ceiling boards were gone or supported because they were falling down, moisture has gotten to the sheetrock and the shiplap is coming down. I would have never gotten married there today if it was in the condition it currently is in vs when I took the tour 9 years ago.

I like the cabin feel of the decor.

The front desk was very friendly. We had some special requests and they took care of them before we got there. One request was sent just an hour before we arrived. The wheelchair accessible room was nice and clean. There could have been a little more room to maneuver/turn around in the wheelchair. Had elevators between floors. Nice pool and hot tub.

I loved the interior decor. The checkin staff was very friendly and helpful. They were asking if we needed anything. Very informative of the surrounding area and shared many great eating ideas.

The room was very clean. Nice lodge decor in that establishment. My room overlooked the golf course in back. It was quiet. No kids running wild down the hallways. Overall it was a pleasant peaceful overnight stay.Check in was fast. Check out was good except I could not get a receipt for my stay or bill as I checked out at 6am and clerk said they needed to run computers later and they will email me my receipt which I was not happy about and still have not received a copy of it in my email so I will have to call them.
