Lovely place, clean & tidy, great location central to saundersfoot and a 3 minute drive into Tenby town, would definitely return!

It's the little touches that count. Like having driven 7 hours to find not only the usual tea, coffee etc but a full pint of milk and bottles of water in the mini fridge. Together with a lovely bottle of wine and biscuits. Really, really grateful. The location is excellent, room very comfortable and spotlessly clean and the wifi strong.

A gem of a guest house.

A gem of a guest house with an easy check in and check out. Coveniently located near to Tenby and Saundersfoot. Beautiful welcoming touch, with the bottle of wine and pack of Welsh cakes. Definitely reccommend a stay and intend to go bzck ourselves. Thank you Sandyhill.

2/10 Poor

Whole building in terribly dated condition. I can see why it's up for sale. Handles fell off wardobe door as soon as we touched it, damp smell puffs out of furniture when you sit down, toilet not fitted properly, trailing wires everywhere, surrounding property so overgrown I was expecting rats everywhere, damp smell hits you when you walk in, no staff onsite, no response to phone calls, no refund when we walked out.

Quiet central location.

Amazing stay, room was large and bed super comfy. Would happily stay again as super convenient for both Tenby and Saunders foot. Host was polite and allowed easy access with clear instructions. Super little touches with coffee machine, shortbread & chocolate. Shower was super too!! For info, we stayed in room 2 which was the large double with King size bed.

Great location for Folly Farm and Oakwood

The Sandy Hill Guest House is perfectly located for visiting Folly Farm and Oakwood Theme Park. The room was a good enough size for me and my 13 year old son. The decor is modern but a little tired. The tea, coffee (plus coffee machine), welsh cakes, milk and bottle of wine laid out for us went above and beyond. My only criticism is that the other rooms were obviously occupied by a group and on our first night there was lots of chatting on the landing and moving between rooms, and on the second night they returned at 1.30am which set of the owners dog who then barked for about 15 mins. It would be great if each room could have a 'do not disturb' sign like in a hotel so you know other people are also staying. We would definitely return despite this because the location was so good.

Great

Very easy check in, we arrived an hour early and the room was ready and waiting for us. The complimentary bottle of wine in the fridge and the welshcakes were a lovely gesture. There are bags for recycling on thr landing. Depite the guest house being on the main Narbeth road we didnt really hear any noise from the traffic. A great little guest house

Flexible check in / out time was very nice .Having a mini fridge in my room was helpful !Issues w/ taxi. A very good place for people hired cars to stay at ! Taxi takes 20 to 30 min.to come sometimes. If taxis come from other places like Tenby ,they charge traveling fee ( as everywhere does ) .There was some exposed wall in a closet in my rm. I was concerned if bugs ,or rats would come in ,didn't .Nice shower ,but molds in the corner of the base of the shower ! A little bit.Red wine in the fridge ,great for wine lovers ! Welsh cakes & teas .Not a good place for light sleepers as it's next to a street cars going fast !

Great place highly recommend

The place was very clean, nicely decorated, the beds were comfortable and the location was very good to reach all of the beaches and some very nice restaurants. We were also very pleased with the strong wifi connection.

Affordable and homely in the perfect location

We booked the guest-house last minute as a anniversary trip to Saundersfoot and the guest house was situated local to both saundersfoot and Tenby with cheap taxi (less than £10) from ‘Gabs Cabs’ to travel to the town if you didn’t fancy driving. The hosts were easily contactable and so friendly. The room was exceptionally clean and hosts offered complimentary towels, toiletries and refreshments throughout the stay. We look forward to staying again at SandyHill Guesthouse for our next trip to Tenby.

2 day stay.

We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed our stay. The tea/coffee and drinks facilities were good and refills available in the hall way or on the table on the landing. The small fridge in the room was a great help as it was very hot out and the bottle of wine was a nice touch. The only negative I can give was that the shower cubical was small.( I'm over 6 feet tall and it was a bit of a tight fit) It's about a 20 min walk into Saundersfoot itself along a narrow road but it is down hill and about £6 for a taxi back.

Lovely and in a great location

It wasn’t quite what we were expecting but it was clean, it had plenty of facilities ie kettle, fridge, on suite. A generous spread of tea and coffee with lots of other bits, even an Easter egg for my daughter. The proprietor was very friendly and helpful, the location was perfect to just hope in the car and go wherever with good road links. The local beaches and parks are amazingly beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it as long as you don’t mind a slightly uncomfortable mattress.

Perfection doesn’t describe this place.

Absolutely amazing! I could write a book about how lovely, caring and kind the staff and sandy hill guest house are. It was my partners 21st and had asked them for a special touch to the room but I did not expect the amount of time and effort that they had put into it. Check out the photos of what an amazing job they did to our room. I know of no where that would go to the extent they have done.

Ideally Located Guest house

Good little Guest house recently refurbished, Good beds, is on the main Narbeth Tenby Road Ideally situated for Tenby 2.5 miles away. early traffic noise for light sleepers if windows open when warm, slept in the Ground Floor room, Found one of the Downsides was a bench in front of the window, where people Smoked, only had one instance of noise, but to be honest we found it a little intrusive, Great free touches of water and a bottle of wine in the fridge, complimentary toiletries, we had a problem of the TV only having a few channels, The owner sorted it the next day got more channels on the TV, but unfortunately the channels kept saying No Input Data, suspect an Aerial issue, Free Wi-Fi. All in All a comfortable pleasant stay, value for money.

Lovely place

When I stay away it's always about the bed for me & how clean the room is. Our room was spotless & all the bed were extremely comfy. Lovely little guest house. Free parking & the tassimo coffee machine were a bonus. Our 1st time away with our youngest, he is very busy & up at the crack of dawn too. For me personally I've learnt a hotel of guest house isn't suitable for him. But that's nothing on the owners or the place its just a learning curve for myself. Id love to come back either on my own or with my eldest though & have been looking already. Close to saundersfoot shops & a stunning beach. Some lovely places to have food also. Overall a brilliant place to stay Thank
