This hotel is located in a very strategic place where you could just walk to down town (centro) or just board the train to different points of the city. Unfortunately, the condition of this hotel has worsen with time, the elevator doors seem to be falling down, in the rooms, there is rust, moldy walls, switches and outlets that don't work anymore, sometimes there's no hot water. People at the front desk, while they are not rude, they are very basic, to the point kind of thing and they're not willing to bend anything to help out (if there's any specific situation). Overall, this is a decent place to stay but I've found better places just few blocks away.

Down town
If you want to be in down town GDL, this is the place. No luxury or comfort, this is just a place to be central to down town and lay your head down. Lacks hot water and comfortable bedding.

2/10 Poor

I stayed there in October and everything was good but this time was the worst. No running water for 2 days. The air conditioning had an annoying ticking noise couldn't sleep. I got moved 3 times after that room.the last room faced the sun and the curtain was not hung right alot of light couldn't sleep in. They wanted to move me again but I was fed up. I found a way to keep the curtains close as much as possible. By then I just wanted my days to be over to check out. Also when I was checking in I was told that my reservation had been canceled and that there were no rooms available. I was accused of lying. Just a terrible experience. I really believe I should get reimbursed. I will never ever stay there again
