I enjoyed my stay at Cinnamon Red, the room was modern, clean and had a great view from 25th floor - I liked that they supplied 2 water bottles daily and provided a minibar. I tried the breakfast one morning (for a charge) and it had a great variety of sweet and savoury food with a fresh pancake and omelette station. Staff were all professional and helpful around the hotel. The only minus is that the room could have a more modern hairdryer and more vegan/gluten free options on the menu for room service but this is just a small detail.

The Red is a stylish hotel that is often at half the price of the grand. It does not have the shops, bars and restaurants of the grand but the roof bar is lovely and I won’t to be out in the town anyway. Great pool too

Amazing service and the staff was beyond great. Such a warm welcome and accommodated every special request I had. Clean and very comfortable room with a fantastic view. Lahiruni at the front desk was very helpful and professional. Kudos to such a great team. Definitely will stay again.

Excellent experience in a very good hotel. Safe, clean and with a very well appointed room. Everything worked. Housekeeping was exceptional. All the staff were keen to help, were always polite and efficient and friendly. The pool area very nice with amazing views but there wasn’t any shade! The gym facilities were very good and the area was supervised I would highly recommend the Cinnamon Red Hotel and would stay again in a second.

We stayed here for the last 6 days of our 5 weeks in Sri Lanka. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the rooftop infinity pool. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. We liked to go to the rooftop bar and have coffee and tea in the morning, which we either made in our room or picked up from the 7th floor. The bar opened in the afternoon and if we were in the hotel we often had a soda water with lime after swimming. We will recommend this hotel to our anyone travelling to Colombo
