So much potential
This hotel looks much nicer than what it is. A few things were a bit disappointing. The a/c worked but definitely gave off a bit of a musty smell. From the very first night there was no body wash in the bathroom and when I asked for room service to replace it they left it outside the room door. Another thing that didn’t make much sense was room service came in and reset our room but never left towels.
That being said, the front desk staff were all helpful but it just seems the hotel is being mismanaged. I’ll stay at another option my next trip to Nyack.

disappointing
This is my first time staying here since the Marriot has taken over and I have to say that I am less than impressed. The edgy decor that gave the hotel character is gone and has been replaced with dull gentrified furniture and artwork. Sadly, its charm is gone. Our shower had a terrible odor coming from the plumbing that was awful. I felt like I was showering in a sewer. The front desk staff offered to removed the resort fee in compensation.

Can't wait to come back!
Super comfy beds, room was so spacious & clean! Loved the amenities in the shower...not a huge fan of orange scent though. My son loved the huge bath tub & it was nice having two bathrooms. The one sliding door didn't stay closed & kept rolling open. The complimentary coffee table wasn't the best & all out of half n half & water. The restaurant breakfast was delicious!!! Overall a great comfortable stay with good food & awesome room!!

Stay anywhere but here!
Do not stay at this hotel!!! The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything! The hotel is pet friendly (dogs barking). I unfortunately was put into a room next to a couple that had screaming children all night and were fighting with each other and screaming about divorce. When I went to call the front desk I found the room phone did not work. The tv remote also did not work. We went to try the restaurant for a Sunday brunch only to find it closed for a special event. The manager, Nick Enaigbe, was completely apathetic and is a liar. Do not expect and refund or help from him in any way. The hotel looks pretty but don’t expect good customer service or any sleep.

Stay was great, but 400 for a room was too high. View from our room was a cemetery

This is a beautiful hotel and property. The people who work here are very accommodating. We had a couple of snafus during our stay, but they were addressed. Breakfast was a bit disappointing, but overall we plan to return here. Also, management went out of their way to make my birthday and our anniversary very special! We will not forget that. Thank you very much! We will be back.

Bugs
The front of the hotel was filled with Spotted Lantern Butterflies flying on people and luggage, into the vestibule of the lobby. Dozens of dead/ live bugs littered the entire front of the hotel. It was horrible.
