Perfect getaway

We had stayed here 8 yrs ago and could not wait to get back. It was everything we remembered. Exceptional service, beautiful surroundings and the restaurant Zepo as delicious as it was then. It was our 35th wedding anniversary and we cannot wait to come back. One of the best hotels in the world - and we have traveled a lot!

Excellent experience overall- comfortable bed, great location on the pier, tons of shopping and food nearby. Only hiccup was we didn't realize that we can't drive up to the hotel to drop off our belongings (you have to park in the public lot or a private lot about 100-300 meters away). It's a short, pleasant walk but the first night when finding our way the GPS kept took us in circles trying to find the hotel so that was a little tiring.

Beautiful little hotel with hospitable staff who cater to all of your needs. Breakfast was like a fancy brunch to start your day. Our room had a lovely Venetian harbour view and a second floor sitting area. Great location within walking distance to many nice restaurants.

This was one of the best stays I’ve ever had. The staff was extremely attentive and helpful during my stay. As a woman traveling alone, I had concerns, but they took amazing care of me. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the xhania area.

Our stay was wonderful. The staff was so helpful in sight seeing suggestions and making reservations for us. The location is seriously amazing and the breakfast options unique and delicious. My only complaint is if you have a car, parking is tough and you have to walk your suitcases on cobblestones. We found out after there is a golf cart service but it would have been nice to know that before dragging three suitcases through town.

Being this was my very first trip to Greece, planning was based off of reviews like this…and this property did not disappoint and was a perfect introduction to Greece. The staff was incredible! They helped guide us with where to eat, what to do and made our stay as comfortable as possible! A big highlight was the free breakfast every morning!! It was INCREDIBLE! Everything was freshly made that morning and was delicious! The location was central and walking distance to everything! The tiny streets and alleys had their own character and felt like each turn led to hidden gems and charming stores. The room itself was small and cozy but never felt claustrophobic. I do wish the bathroom had some sort of ventilation system and shower had more pressure… but that’s just nit-picking… I would absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone staying in Chania!

The staff were very kind and helpful for the most part except that about a week before I arrived, I asked if they could help me book a massage treatment and they said to do that when I arrive. Of course I asked again on arrival and they said they would call me to confirm a booking. I never heard from them. I also asked about seeing some live music and again never heard back about that. It’s a lovely hotel but reception is set up in an atrium so of course any noise carries up to the rooms. There is a very loud restaurant nearby that played loud music (not live) until late into the night. Also, a room nearby had guests that were up at 3:45am and I could hear their floor boards creaking. So not a quiet place to rest at all. Still, the views are spectacular and the hammam shower was wonderful. I’d stay again. Note, I did not receive my Expedia VIP gift.

Excellent stay at this hotel. Water view was amazing, walking distance to all the restaurants, old town and the Venetian harbor. Spectacular breakfast, not a buffet with a menu to order from. If you were going to miss breakfast, they would have a box breakfast for you. Quiet at night and has an elevator. Hospitality was great, staff was very friendly and helpful.

Five starts do not seem enough for this hotel , the whole staff are truly exceptional and made our stay so special. From breakfast , reception to the cleaning staff, everyone provided a level of customer service that is beyond anything I have ever received in any other hotel. A special mention must go out to the breakfast !! It is incredible

Superb service. Elegant accommodations and the view to the Venetian harbor is spectacular. The breakfast is made to order and the food quality and dining patio are excellent. Very friendly staff makes this an exceptional experience. Interior design is magnificent, and fits this beautifully renovated Venetian Mansion.

Outstanding location, room design, and staff

Situated in an absolutely perfect location on the harbor, the staff was so nice and helpful. The room was very clean and nicely organized, with many amenities and provided toiletries. Highly recommend staying here and would definitely return here and stay again.
