Très bon séjour

L’hôtel est vraiment très bien, le personnel très accueillant et attentif. Les chambres sont spacieuses, et modernes. La nourriture excellente et variée. La partie adulte est bien séparée de la partie enfants. A noter que l’endroit n’est pas forcément calme. Trop de musique en permanence, le seul endroit avec un peu de sérénité est la plage. La plage de l’hôtel n’est pas incroyable, un petit banc pas très large et délimité. À noter que l’endroit se trouve sur la façade atlantique et pas la mer des Caraïbes. Si vous souhaitez passe un agréable moment et vous amuser c’est l’endroit idéal! Si par contre vous souhaitez vous reposer au calme je ne le conseillerai pas. Dans tous les cas j’ai passé d’excellentes vacances, le rapport qualité prix est tout à fait correct.

Disappointing customer service

So booked here and was looking forward to it. As i have quite a high loyalty status on Expedia I was awarded a $72 credit although the resort was All Inclusive. This credit could be redeemed against non all inclusive food or beverages. We booked the steak restaurant for 7:30’pm, the staff were very nice but the service was very slow. We ended up getting our main course after 90 mins of sitting down. I ordered the Tommahawk steak at a $95 dollar supplement to come with chips and also a chicken skewer. Like I said after 90 mins we only got the meat dish with no accompaniments, no vegetables and no chips, also my chicken skewers also never came. We also weren’t asked if we wanted dessert and didn’t get any as we were presented with a bill for $23 for the difference for the tommahawk steak. I explained I was disappointed as we didn’t really get all our food order and had to wait 90 mins. I explained they already had my $72 voucher and that it was unfair for me to pay the extra $23 as the service was so poor and that I didn’t get all my food order. I was surrounded by 3 waiters and a credit card machine but I simply said no. Eventually the manager said it was fine and compd the difference. Upon check out I was again hounded to pay the $23. After about 20 mins of back and forth the spa manager who was also the assistant hotel manager agreed to comp the difference and apologised for the hassle I was subjected to. the resort is nice but the staff need customer service

Food -Two thumbs and big toes down .

The overall stay was good, however the food was horrible. The market place buffet was nasty for breakfast lunch and dinner. The papala was at best ok. The ocean restaurants was mediocre. The best restaurants on the resort was the Koi restaurant. Overall, the stay was satisfactory, although the dining experience was disappointing. The buffet restaurant offered mediocre meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. the ocean restaurant was unremarkable. The only truly exceptional dining experience on the resort was at the Koi restaurant. The Valentine’s dinner was so bad that all four courses were disguising so much so that by the time our entree’s came we were disgusted . The steak for out entree was cooked so hard and the lobster was mushy. We sent it back and left before the last course was served. The entertainment for the valentine’s dinner was the best part of the dinning experience.

This is a fairly new property with modern suites, restaurants, facilities, and is nicely laid out with 3 pools and a large beachfront. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The resort was refreshingly quiet and seemed to always have a few free spaces around the pools and at the beach. Almost nightly outdoor entertainment was fairly good. The indoor piano bar seemed to have more variety and was more engaging. The only complaint was the limited access to restaurants. Some were closed randomly without notice and getting reservations to the 3 sit down restaurants was difficult. The beach was very very nice - there’s a beautiful sandbar that you can stand in 4 feet of water and watch fish around you. You can walk 30 minutes either way along the beach (within the hotel zones). We would definitely recommend this resort to our friends & family.

My husband and i spent 1 week here and were so sad to leave. The room was so spacious, loved the large tub. The beach was fabulous and the water was great. We had a swim out and decided that wasbt for us so next time i wont do that but no fault of the property just our preference. I loved the Hibatchi restaurant. Food was overall good

Truly unfortunate experience! Came here for my honeymoon with my wife and was really anticipating an amazing experience based off what I saw in the pictures and some of the reviews I read. Upon arrival/check-in, something already felt off by the way the staff approached my wife and I compared to other guests. I didn’t think too much of it because I wanted to stay positive and optimistic but by the third day things were getting extremely out of hand. My wife and I were disrespected, disregarded, and treated extremely poorly any time we requested any sort of service (e.g. dining, at the bar, cleaning service, etc.). I couldn’t figure out why because we remained polite and respectful the entire time but it was not reciprocated. Then I started to notice who the staff were approaching, being extremely attentive to, and serving without hesitation. It was the Caucasian and/or European guests. My wife and I are Egyptian and tan-skinned. Almost daily, we were asked if we were Dominican ourselves. It wasn’t as simple as prejudice against non-whites though, it came with the expectation that only non-white guests are “tipping” for small acts of service and thus should be prioritized by staff. As soon as I took notice of it, I couldn’t unsee it. We literally stood in a line for 15 minutes and every white couple standing in front of us, to the side of us, and behind us was served while we were blatantly disregarded. So disheartening. Filing complaints about this resort on every platform.

Our experience at this resort was disappointing and not worth the cost. We arrived late to find our room door wouldn’t lock. After multiple calls to the front desk, I had to go in person to demand maintenance. They had no other rooms unless we downgraded for a night, which we refused. The door was finally fixed by 1 AM, and the only food available was at the sports bar—greasy, processed, and barely edible. On day two, our air conditioner broke. It was fixed but failed again within an hour. The shampoo and conditioner were poor quality, so bring your own. The beach was beautiful, with clean, shallow water, and we enjoyed daily walks. The pools were nice, though lounge chairs were hard to find due to guests reserving them early. Staff were often inattentive, on their phones, and slow to offer service, even when it wasn’t busy. The food was the worst part—buffet options were carb-heavy with small, over-sauced protein portions, mostly pork and fish. À la carte restaurants were no better: limited options, small portions, and inconsistent quality. Although the food slightly improved later, it remained unreliable. Making reservations was frustrating, and despite limited booking times, restaurants were half-empty. Our room was spacious but uncomfortable—flat sheets, small pillows (some without cases), and a non-functional outdoor jacuzzi. Overall, poor service, food, and room issues made this a trip we wouldn’t repeat or recommend.

We had room 3122 , a swim out ocean view room, it was the perfect location. I see reviews complaining about obtaining dinner reservations…we were there 6 nights and able to get 4 reservations…but the buffet was amazing!! We actually canceled 2 dinner reservations to go back to buffet…King Crab legs and amazing steak…this was probably one of the best buffets at any Caribbean resort I have been to… 10 out of 10….staff was sweet and helpful…beach was outstanding!!! I would definitely go back in a heartbeat!!

Beach and Ocean are beautiful. Food was OK not much choice and is very repetitive in buffetts. Reservations are non existent unless you tip the host to get in. Everything is a hustle. Non stop people walking the beach to sell stuff. And they’re aggressive , you have to say no at least 5x. Don expect a beach nap.

Overall it was great, at the adults only property but some staff members maybe some retraining on hospitality after all it is a hotel. We travelled with family so we had 4 rooms some rooms got chocolates at night and some didn’t. The breakfast was very good. Other associates should learn from Rousel Rodriguez on how to go out of your way for your guests and always with a smile. The entertainment at the beach and pool was excellent but should have more people for night entertainment and dancing with the guests.

Really enjoyed our time in Serenade, the staff are super friendly, the hotel and rooms are very clean and the food was superb, the beach is maintained clean and the pools are great. It was great experience from all angles
