We received a message to confirm check-in, so we requested an early check-in. Later, we got a text saying our room was ready. But when we arrived, they told us it would take another 7 hours, which was frustrating and upsetting. In the end, we were given a completely different room than we booked—one we didn’t request, with a smaller kitchen and fewer amenities. It was a disappointing start to what was supposed to be a special stay.
