The location was ideal for visiting our niece, a GW student. It’s a great neighborhood and convenient to the Metro. We were able to check in early. The room was just right, nothing fancy, but clean & comfortable. Would stay there again.

This was an excellent stay. I hadn't been here for a few years, and was pleasantly surprised at how nice everything was. I didn't recall the comfort of the beds and pillows and spaciousness of the rooms. The rooms were very clean. Older hotel, so sound privacy isn't excellent... but Mohamad at the bar was the best part of the trip. Very sweet and entertaining. Itworth coming just to meet him!

I love the location but the rooms need updating. This is especially true for the bathrooms. The tub is very awkward, and the shower curtain is old and nasty.

Comfy cozy Euro style hotel, rooms are like small apt. EXCELLENT staff. Good location in Foggy Bottom near GW Univ. Walking distance, not short though, to Georgetown. Note it borders a large commercial zone of offices that within a few blocks have not much to offer.

Great location. Nice room, the air conditioner was not working. Woke up in the middle of the night in a very warm, stuffy room. When asked about our stay in the morning, we told the desk clerk about the ac. He just said we should have called them in the middle of the night. Kind of rude. Will not go back.

Great location! Easy walk to The White House and then on to The Mall! Bus stop nearby and Metro a short walk away. Food and bars in Wester Market across the square. Founding Farmers restaurant in corner great for all meals! Lovely suite with lounge and bedroom. Would definitely stay again on next trip to DC.

Friendly, clean, courteous
I was traveling with my recently turned 10 year old son for a special father/som adventure. When I told the desk attendant this she graciously gave us a complimentary room upgrade. The space was georgious and loved the vintage 20’s architecture. The staff was professional and always super friendly to my son and I. They greeted us when we came back from exploring and wished us a good day when we left. The cafe in the hotel had excellent food and the wait staff was also codteous and friendly. Highly recommended Hotel Lombardy.
