We are pretty forgiving when it comes to hotel rooms, but this property was just not great at all. Nothing huge, but a lot of other things that just added up.
First, when we arrived there was one other person checking in. That took a good 15 minutes or more, then it was my turn. It went ok but they didn't run my card correctly (for the "incidents") and later had to ask me to come back down and re-run the card. This time it took 5-7 swipes to get it to go. All this time I'm staring at a card machine on the counter that has chip and/or tap capability--what's that for if not for this?
Then we walked to the stairwell to go upstairs and there was quite a nasty smell. We were not sure if the carpets had been cleaned or what the problem was.
The room: several problems there too. The carpet had pieces of what appeared to be dried-up noodles, the toilet wasn't bolted to the floor properly, the shower was missing the door handle/bar, the TV was plugged into what we later determined to be the switched outlet--the switch is by the door but didn't do anything because the lamp that was also plugged in was turned off, there were several places where old fixtures had just been covered up with plates on the wall, in the bathroom there was a vent but no switch for a fan, and most annoying of all the light over the sink kept turning itself on--including in the middle of the night.
The pool and hot tub at least worked, but barely qualify as "indoor".
So overall cannot recommend.
