The property is beautiful. However, that’s pretty much where the good part ends. Except for Rich and Mark. They were THE best parts of our stay at this hotel. If not for them, our stay would have been awful. We were forced to change rooms due to a plumbing issue that had nothing to do with us. They wanted to put us in a room that was far less of value than our original room. Twice. Rich and Mark, and the valet guys, were awesome though. They made our stay as good as it was.

Very bad value for what you get in return. The resort fee is ridiculous, its a run of the mill hotel - nothing 'resort' about it. The resort fee of 36$ per person per night gets you a bottle of water and a glass of wine, and various discounts off things that are overpriced to begin with ($6 for a bottle of water in the gift shop). We also werent given our vouchers to avail of the discounts and free bevergaes upon checkin, and had to ask for them ourselves on the 3rd day once we realised our fellow guests had them.
The room was clean and the cleaners did a great job each day. Staff were very friendly. This was the main saving grace.
Overall, the hotel is quite dated and doesnt offer much to guests other than a place to sleep. So while it does the job, it was not worth the price paid and doesnt live up to being a 'resort'.

The first room that was assigned rm# 2121 you could not see through the slider. It was hazed to such a degree that was totally opaque. Depressing, especially for the price that was charged for the room. I asked for an immediate room change and was moved to a new room rm # 3108 with a clear window that you could see out of. Why would the hotel have such a low standard w/their room accommodations? Our new room was good and very clean.

It was a decent property, fairly run down, very limited food and drink options. Staff was pretty nice, but not necessarily attentive, several times we were not helped or checked on. Parking was insanely expensive and resort fees were a lot for a place with essentially minimal amenities.

Champions Suite
We booked the Champions Suite for (4) guests. We arrived and were warmly greeted by Rich immediatly. Rich was extremely helpful and showed a level of customer service rarely seen in the Hotel Industry these days. The suite was very spacious, but the amenities and furnishings were outdated and did not provide very good use of the space. The suite info said there was a sofa bed, but both of the sofa's in the suite were standard couches with no bed. When we ordered a roll-up bed, we were told that there would be a $25 charge. I tipped for delivery, but disputed the charge at checkout and explained that I didn't agree to the charge based on the fact that there were no other places to sleep for our children, and the charge was removed.
Overall the view from the balcony and our interaction with Rich were the highlights of the stay. I hear they are renovating the Suites, hopefully when they do they will provide a more useful layout!!!
