Fantastic 2 week stay. Wonderful staff, great breakfast. Very accommodating and even switched us to a larger room for a week. Just steps away is a street with the best restaurants in Chania. We ate at all of them, a few multiple times. We travel A LOT. It’s nice to come upon a place this nice. Small cozy boutique hotel. It doesn’t happen often that we find gems like this.

Malmo Historic Hotel has great location. It’s in the center of the historic part of the city. The staff and maid service were excellent. Very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. The room was spacious, bed and pillows comfortable, bathroom was large with a great shower and bathroom amenities were really good. I would definitely recommend this hotel. It’s a small boutique hotel with a lot of charm

I had the pleasure of experiencing a memorable stay at the Malmo Historic Hotel, in July 2024. This boutique hotel is luxurious, offering the old charm of the island, while providing modern day comforts. Conveniently located and within walking distance to several dining establishments, local shops, tourist attractions and the beach, this hotel was an excellent choice! Upon arrival, I was greeted with a "sweet" welcome. The front desk concierge was friendly, and offered complimentary baklava bites. After a long day of travel, the treat was very thoughtful and very much appreciated. Her hospitality didn't stop there. She provided a map of the island and offered helpful tidbits to ensure I had the best experience during my stay. My generously sized room had a classic-modern style, offering beautiful finishes right from its entrance and all the way into the bathroom -- which was almost as big as the bedroom! Using local products in their toiletries was also appreciated. The room was fully equipped, providing a comfortable and relaxing experience. They thought of everything, even providing beach gear (beach bag and towels). The hotel's private balcony offered a peaceful atmosphere to enjoy their daily, complimentary breakfast. Local treats were amongst familiar choices, offering something for everyone. Kudos to the creators of the hotel, as well as their staff. Wishing you all the best and continued success! I look forward to my return :)

The hotel is beautiful the rooms are incredible the only thing that people should know if you cannot park at the hotel you have to park about 800 metres away in a paid parking lot and being in your luggage this should be disclosed. But the staff, room , breakfast was 10/10

Malmo Historic Hotel is fantastic! Located in Chania's charming Old Town area, the venue is near the Venetian Port, the beach, and numerous shops and restaurants. The boutique hotel is beautiful, with a lot of character. We really liked the interior and arched details in our room, which is considered the bridge room because you could see that part of the hotel from outside by looking up. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel's breakfast was good. As an American, I personally enjoy the lighter and fresher breakfast options not only in Chania but the parts of Europe to which I have traveled. I would definitely book a room again at the Malmo.

Everything about Malmo is absolutely amazing. The staff, the location, the spacious modern rooms. Virginia, not sure what her role is because she seems to be able to do it all!. Virginia’s level of hospitality supersedes most!! She seems so genuine and was on call to help us with any and everything. She secured all our transfers, packed us lunch for our beach trips , breakfast because our excursion and ferry was going to be very early in am. The room layout has such a great & romantic flow along with the balcony which overhang a street that has some of the best restaurants in Chania. This property deserves all the accolades and 5/6 stars. Thank you for a pleasant stay
