Our cottage was right above the theater and visitors thought the route to our cottage was the route to the theater. This was a bit annoying. The janitor tried to solve it for us by putting up a sign but that was not completely effective. At one point it rained with a thunder storm and at that point the power went out. It was not noticed and was fixed after we reported it (we waited til next morning due to the weather). The cottage itself is pretty small but has everything you need to get by. Shower was a bit shoddy but everything functioned properly. Outside was a picknick table for 2 persons. Odd, since we were with 4 persons and it was also a 4-person cottage. The beach is amazing and private to the camping, which is a big plus to us; it's rather safe and very little chance of theft. It closes rather early though (18:00). The location of the beach is really nice, with a great view. A real sight to behold!
Sorrento is very busy and when you want to walk there, be prepared to walk on the road where cars drive as well. We aren't used to that a were a tad fearful so we only did it once. We abhorred the crowdedness anyway so, we didn't think we'd lose too much by staying at the camping. There's also a shuttle service to Sorrento, cheap enough to use regularly, should you so desire. Staff is really friendly and the restaurant is OK. Breakfast a bit monotonous; every day exactly the same, even over several years(!)
