My stay at Moxy Myeongdong was perfect! After spending time in Japan I wanted to make a pit stop in S. Korea and I’m so glad I stayed at the Moxy Myeongdong. The atmosphere of the city and vibe of the hotel went hand in hand! Very surprised that the room was quiet although being near the hustle and bustle of Myeongdong Market. We walked to Seoul Tower one day and the next Gyeongbokgung Palace. There’s so much to see I’m excited to come back!

Very good location. Stayed in a family room with 2 queen size bed- very spacious. Like the multi hooks on the wall concept which comes handy to hang our clothes etc. Having a laundry room is definitely a plus point for travellers who stay for a longer period.

Great stay (14 nights) customer service is excellent and the team there are welcoming and friendly. I have three areas for improvement 1) the beds were abit hard for my liking although the pillows were really good 2) there are no vegetarian options on the dining menu which for an international hotel was quite surprising. We ate on occasion, next door at Le Meridian which has 4 or 5 options to choose from catering to a vegetarian diet and 3) we travelled in August which is obviously a very hot and humid month in Seoul. This meant our room felt damp and occasionally had a musty smell that the air conditioning did nothing to help shift. It didn’t matter how many times the room was cleaned, the faint smell was there. Dehumidifiers would be a great addition for summer.

I had a lovely stay at this hotel! It was modern, clean, and extremely spacious (my brother and I stayed in the room type with the bunk bed). It was in a great location of Myeongdong that was extremely walkable, very close to the Myeongdong street market and a gorgeous mall across the street with a lot of luxury shopping options and a great food court. The staff was extremely kind and it was a lovely stay!
