Eines der besten B&Bs auf der irischen Insel

Newcastle liegt in einer der schoensten Region Nordirlands, Cherryhill ist traumhaft und relativ preiswert.

Wunderschön gelegene Lodge

Die Lodge liegt am Fuße der Mourning Mountains, direkt neben den Tollymore Forest. Der Blick in den Garten ist grandios insbesondere Abends, wenn hinter den Bergen die Sonne untergeht. Die Gastfamilie ist sehr nett und die Hausherrin kann ein sehr leckeres FrĂŒhstĂŒck zaubern. Alles home made!

Perfect!!!

The beautiful house is a super B&B. The welcome was super nice and the location is a dream with a super few to the mountains of North Ireland. The breakfast was incredible and the service of the owner perfect!!!!! Hope to find a reason to go there again!!!!

Perfect place to stay.

We were made to feel very welcome and treated as special throughout. There was a fridge with fresh milk to use with the tea/coffee making facilities. Beautiful views. Lovely garden. Very good room with comfy bed. Excellent choice for breakfast, including home-made bread, scones, and jam. cooked to order. Good parking. Very good location for touring the area and short drive into town with free car parking. Highly recommended.

Peaceful and serene

Absolutely brilliant from start to finish excellent breakfast and Patricia and John are two sweethearts, will definitely be back,views from are bedroom were spectacular would love to be able to wake up to them every morning and the pride Patricia takes in her beautiful garden is spectacular, can’t wait for my next visit and the beautiful Dog Daisy so so friendly

The proprietors were lovely. The place was stunning, with a great view of the mountains from the patio of the loft. The loft had everything one could need if they wanted to cook simple meals there, or make breakfasts (dishes, small fridge and freezer, oven, pans, stove ECT).

The Loft is our home from home and the welcome and hospitality always makes you feel like you are coning home, or that you are staying with old friends. We received a very warm welcome from the owners on arrival. Our room was spacious, warm and well appointed. Plenty of hot water and clean white towels for our en-suite bathroom. Tea and coffee making facilities included in our room. We enjoyed sitting in the sun room in the evenings with views of the garden and mountain. Forest trails are walkable from the house. A car is needed if touring mountains of Mourne or further afield. A lovely week in February.

Patricia and John were wonderful gracious hosts. breakfast was delicious with the added bonus of freshly baked brownies, break rolls each morning, as well as freshly squeezed orange juice. the property was perfectly located literally at the base of the Mourne Mountains. perfect for hiking right from the property. the room had the most picturesque view of their flowering garden and mountain. its a 3 minute drive to shops, restaurants, the beach, and a 8 minute drive to the dunes. perfect location. we loved staying here and would stay again if we found our way back to Newcastle.

Patricia & John are warm & very friendly hosts. I stayed as I had a funeral in the area for 2 nights. Patricia went above and beyond to help me with very early wake up calls & the breakfast I had was genuinely superb. If I come back I would definitely stay there again. The room was lovely and had an amazing view of the mountains of Mourne. If only they could have sorted the weather!
