First time around had a good stay however this time was different. Nothing worked in my room. The light switches had to get replaced the iron wasn’t working or the TV remote. While they addressed the issue all I got was a mere sorry for the inconvenience. Even at breakfast had certain type of people get seated at a table for two who came after me while I was made to wait for a table for one.

Wasim and Ednah were attentive and friendly much like the entire staff at the Dukes. Breakfast buffet is exceptional offering something for everyone such as fresh fruit, cold cereal, waffles, eggs, etc. The lazy river is relaxing and definitely would consider coming back for another stay. This was my second stay at this hotel, and I can say that Dukes The Palm is a great little luxe hotel if you are looking for a relaxing stay on The Palm which offers the same vibes as a resort, except more calm and peaceful. The hotel is in great condition, decorated to an incredibly high standard, and features great amenities like the private beach and infinity pool. Breakfast is great and offers a really good spread. The outsourced restaurant and pool bar (Ula) is really good too for drinks by the pool and on the beach. The staff exceeded my expectations and were eager to please at all times.

Only negative point was lack of sunbeds around pool and some areas by available beds was muddy and not pleasant to be next to as get muddy feet. Good value for palm hotel. Very close to Nikheel mall

I forgot to take my hair trimmer from my room, and I never got it back again. In the mini bar there are some very small snacks about 50g for 50 Dirham (around £12), while in many other hotels such snacks are free of charge for children.
