When we arrived at the hotel, the receptionist was incredibly rude and unfriendly. We were dismissed to the side as though we were something filty. After a while, it became apparent that there was something wrong with her bookings that she had on paper. Finally they found my name so we thought it was sorted. She asked if it was okay that she gave us a twin room instead of a double. (Looking back at it I think she may have had a problem with a gay couple sleeping in the same bed). At the moment we didn’t mind, but when we arrived at the room, we noticed that it was completely different than the room type we paid for. When we went back to the reception she was again very rude, tried to ignore us and when we finally kept pushing for the room that we paid for, she said “Well than you will have to move everyday because we are full”. As it was not our problem that her booking system was flawed, we didn’t accept this. She then said: “Well if you already touched something in the room, drank the water or used the toilet, we can not move you”. Luckily we didn’t so she didn’t have a choice than give us the room that we paid for in the end (although it was still a twin room and not a double). Summary: very rude staff, very loud music until 2am, they are known for scamming their guests and making them pay for stains on sheets and towels that werent theirs. We took pictures of everything when we got to the room.
