When checking in, we were told we had to put the full amount of the room and deposit on our credit card. Every hotel I have ever stayed at, you are able to pay for the room on either debit or cash, and put the deposit on your credit card. The clerk saw we didnt have enough room on our card and asked for manager approval to accept a cash payment for the room. After a bit of a wait, and us debating on looking for alternative hotel, the employee bypassed the rule for us. We appreciated the gesture, as well as the morning staff allowing a late checkout. The front desk staff is very well trained in customer care and satisfaction.
The room was not very clean. The toilet had a "skid mark" in it, and there was mold growing on the side of the tub, where the cooking is. When reserving, try to ask for a room in the new half of the hotel. The older rooms are cute, if you are looking for that 80's metal iron vibe.
The pool is not very nice, and you need tonwalk past a restaurant and VLT lounge to get there, so bring a robe if you didnt get a suit and only a basic room.
There is no breakfast included, but the restaurant on site is delicious. The staff is friendly but kitchen times can be long, so ask ahead of time if you're in a rush.
Beds are comfortable and they supply Starbucks coffee in the rooms.
