Appreciate the secure gate for added safety. Pleasant & helpful staff, free parking, comfortable bed, cable TV, air conditioning, free parking, & great location to go to Sutter Health Ballpark for a game or event. Good value property.
Provided exactly what I needed - comfortable bed with reasonable bedding; easy to use shower, very clean room, quiet surroundings, simple air conditioning, nothing that needed fixing. Would stay here again with confidence. Not fancy, but the price is right.
The property is older, but what I was looking for - a clean, quiet place. I came to to see an A's game and the location is within walking distance of the stadium. It was also close enough for me to walk to the state capitol building and Old Sacramento (albeit a longer walk of about 3 mi). The staff was super friendly and related the history of the local area and W. Sacramento. Was cool to hear that scenes from the movie "Bad Grandpa" were filmed on site! I'd stay here again.
An old-fashioned motor hotel, but safe, clean, well-kept and well cared for. This is within walking distance to the stadium and is easily the best of this type of hotel in the area. Gas, food, grocery shopping nearby. Convenient to freeways but not too close. Nice management.
Perfect for travelers on a budget who don't want to pay for the newest, sleekest rooms but want a quiet, clean place to stay.
The staff is so friendly, they were really helpful with us checking in late at night and giving me extra pillows and towels. We didnât spend a lot of time in the hotel as we were attending an event for the whole day, so it was perfect for a decent shower and sleep. Itâs a quick drive downtown too, 10 min only. The hotel is not renovated, though.
The staff was great, however Charlie the dog greeted me at the counter and sat on my form I was trying to fill out. I love dogs, but the person didnât even try to get the dog off the counter! I had read that the toweled were very old stained and rough, but I thought surely they have changed them! Nope! I didnât even take a shower because the towels were so bad. The room was clean, but the sheets were SUPER old, grandma flowered ones.
The inn offered me one of the most unique experiences: this family-owned facility provided a warm and welcoming vibe that comes with excellent service, well-maintained rooms, and comfortable beds. I especially like the owners' dogs: they are adorable. There is electrical fencing at the yard entrance, which makes the stay much safer. The beds are very comfortable, but please make sure to bring your shampoo and hairdryer. Overall, this facility is nice and a great place to stay for what it costs.
The folks running the motel are very nice, and I wanted to like the property, but the towels were thin, threadbare and gray with age. The mattress was okay but not covered with bedbug prevention, had a thin protector that came off, and the sheets were old and ill fitting. No luggage rack or table lamps, just harsh overhead lights. The carpet was stained, the furniture rickety. The bathroom appeared to have some new floor and shower tiles and was reasonably clean.
We won't be going to this site again. Dogs standing on the check-in counter, right in your face. A bit intimidating when you don't know the dog. Dogs barking every time someone enters the facility. old soap in the shower, dingy, stained towels.
