Billing issues
The room & hotel were very nice. However our first room had a broken AC so we had to change rooms the next morning, which was not a big issue. We requested housekeeping on our 4th day, but it was not done. We were offered a $30 credit for the inconvenience, but we never received it. The major issue we had was regarding billing. Booked through Hotels.com so the price was fixed. My hotel bill copy upon checkout was correct except for the $30 credit. However we were charged an additional $195.05. We had additional charges & credits on our Visa card as pending, but they were never actually processed. Hotel claims the $195.05 was credited, but it doesn't appear on my card & was confirmed by Visa. Had to turn the issue over to Visa for resolution, as I wasn't successful trying to resolve directly with the hotel. It's unfortunate because it was a great room & location. We travel to Austin for 5-6 days quarterly & had planned to use this as our primary hotel, but will now look elsewhere.
