Well the hotel is an awesome area next to a lot of activities, the breakfast buffet was very good. . food was good .I had reservations and when I checked in the front desk clerk was kind of rude she did not give me any paperwork what so ever on the property or times for breakfast, pool,etc .I asked for a receipt I was told I could not have one that I will receive a receipt at checkout. She handed me my room key told me to take a left at the hall use elevator to 6 the floor. .she didn't even mention what room number I had to look in the key folder to find out . We followed her instructions to find that the elevator isn't working hasn't been working there was a sign on the door.. Well come to find out they have two elevators both were broken so my family and I had to tote all our bags etc up 6 flights of stairs . The entire stay. I had a lot of difficulty and so did my daughter whom just got out of hospital two days prior to our visit. When asked about an ETA on both elevators I got a response from hotel of they have no idea when or what day anyone would be fixing them. felt very bad for guest whom had wheel chairs I don't even know how they managed. Did speak to supervisor upon check out he apologized and couldn't believe that I didn't receive paperwork on hotel policy's etc. and he sincerely apologized for both elevators being out of service and also said he was going to o contact hotels.com to refund 50 percent of my bill. Since I paid thru them. So will see if I do get it.
When I checked in was good but issues with elevators twice while stay. Also on one of days, they had issue with pest problems in bathroom and bathtub was dingy.
Absolutely will NOT come back to this hotel! Front desk service from Maria was absolutely horrible and when I called her out on it with my mom, she left and came back with a bit of an better attitude. Still was a horrible way to get to the hotel. At night I noticed the couch bed sheets were left on and dirty. Called the front office was left on hold for 5 minutes when I decided to call back. When I called back right away someone answered me. His name was Tommy or Thomas and all I have to say about him is he needs Intensive training in customer service and kindness. He hung up on me when I told him I was on hold and needed new sheets. We went back and forth to later him telling me to come downstairs to get the sheets and hung up on me. Marcus greeted me downstairs and he was absolutely great. He was very apologetic and understood where I was coming from. The next day I wrote a review and got a call from the general manager(Emma or Erie something with an E) from the front desk. I told her everything and afterwards she apologized and understood my concerns. She informed me she would not charge me parking for both nights and would give me 10,000 points. We still paid for parking and I did not receive any Hilton Points. They will always have business because itâs cheaper and closer to Universal but they lost my and my families business. Iâm a travel agent and I would not recommend to my clients. Oh and the elevator sounded like it would crash every second. Just horrible overall!
Stayed for AAU nationals. Great location enabling walking to convention center. Great breakfast options amd room was spacious and comfortable. No issues and would stay again!!
The stay was good yet elevator was terrible shape and over look parts sticking out rails hanging. I was concerned it would break down with us in itâŠ. On the last day of stay we had to walk down three flights of stairs due to the elevator being broke⊠I am handi cap and had luggage this was exhausting and reason for the above comments.. also furniture in lobby worn not a good look and our room was nice yet furniture again was blue and one piece was white plastic seat ⊠terrible look⊠and no ice ??? In building full size fridge loved it and no ice.. than I had to pay for parking and it was so full I had to park off site and walk yet still pay $10 a day⊠not good w that so yes I liked your place but needs some work ..and I feel I paid over the value of what I received.. also the sheets did not even cover the mattress and if we have a king size bed why twin size pillows??
