The hotel was relatively clean & had a lot of amenities, from multiple places to dine, a skating rink, and pool. The front desk & restaurant staff were friendly. However, the building & room itself have clearly seen better days. This is not a reflection on the cleaning staff as we saw them throughout our stay & were working hard.
However, in our room, the light switch upon entering was partially detached from the wall, the back of the toilet was chipped and cracked, a bathroom ceiling tile was drooping down, kitchenette sink had poor drainage & tiny bugs (even when there wasn’t food), the ceiling above one of the beds had a hole in it & there was a brownish stain on the rug.
If I were to come back to Ocean City, I would potentially consider giving this hotel one more try because I rarely spent time during my stay actually in the room itself.
