Stay was great. Breakfast had hot and cold options. However hot tub is not functioning and it seems according to others travelers its been down for a while. Although that isn't a deal breaker for me, the hotel should be a little more transparent about this. The pool was open and pleasant. Overall very happy with my stay.
We love to stay at the Grandstay in Thief River Falls, MN. The service and condition of the hotel is very consistent. Staff are always kind, friendly and helpful. Rooms are always clean and smell fresh. It is our only choice in Thief River Falls.
The shower set up is terrible. It is in the middle of the wall instead of either end. Water got all over the floor and the hand nozzle arm was broke and wouldnât stay up high.
I dropped something and when looking for it I found garbage behind the dresser.
The room is definitely in need of repair. Lots of missing paint on the walls, damaged furniture overall room was very old and stale. Beds we very uncomfortable and check in staff was not personable at all.
We really like this hotel, however, we stayed there 4 or 5 times in the past 12 months, and each time the pool was closed. I feel they should drop their prices if they nevere have the pool available.
Stayed for a family event. The front desk agent was friendly and answered my questions. She tried to charge me again for my stay, but I showed her I had already paid. It was a simple mistake. Thereâs a note by the front desk that says if you are going to pay by debit card, you will be charged double rate, and then in 3-10 business days you will get the difference. So be aware of that. The breakfast is amazing, and started the day off well.
