Stayed here for Clemsonâs Parent Weekend. The young man working the night shift was very nice and helpful. Unfortunately, that was the highlight of our stay. The room was extremely small, and the bed was low, hard, and incredibly uncomfortable.
By day three, our room still hadnât been servicedâno clean towels, toilet paper, or soap. When we asked the woman at the front desk why housekeeping hadnât come, she responded rudely and repeatedly stated that the hotel only services rooms every other day. We had to explain multiple times that it was day three, and our room hadnât been touched at all. She finally said sheâd send someone, as if she were doing us a favor, rather than acknowledging the oversight.
When youâre paying over $300 a night, you expect better service than this! After we left, we stayed at the Courtyard Marriott in Charleston and paid about the sameâbut had a way better experience! The staff was amazing, the rooms were nice, and although housekeeping was also scheduled every other day, they actually followed through. We get itâParentâs Weekend is always crazy busyâbut all we were asking for after three days was for our room to be serviced. Not too much to ask.
