There was no electricity in hotel rooms and the manager won't come out to address the issues for all customers asking questions. Staff was not able to answer any questions or help customers at all. One of the worst customer service ever experienced.
The Hotel was comfortable and most importantly, the Staff are welcoming and friendly. The restaurant and breakfast options are adequate. Room service for food was sometimes delayed but generally ok.
Horrible experience for a four star rated high $$$ priced stay. No towels in the unclean pool. Rooms and beds and floor were stained. The worst noise due to lobby AC in the club royal rooms. Breakfast service was slow and lack of clear communication from some staff. The hotel brand should take note of the conditions here at HHI Bhubaneswar!
Hotel needs major renovation. Rooms were old and not maintained well. Bath tub was not maintained well and room service wasnt great too. There was some laundry issues & no towels/floor mat were served. Food at restaurant was good.
We checked in at midnight due to heavy trafic restrictions on entry at bbsr . No parking available at hotel , parked on the road . Ordered room service , not accepted but finally chicken and rice was served : chicken was stale and upon service were asked to pay in cash upfront : 760/- , breakfast at 0945 next day was below par and we finally checked out at 11 am without an invoice coz we had paid in advance
I was on a 2 day business tour and choose this hotel based on my previous stay.
It has however turned into a garbage dump since.
I was allotted room no 411 where the AC was not working but the staff for some strange reason didnât send anyone to check it despite 3-4 calls. I could get my room changed only after a major shouting n about 6 hours of staying in a furnace.
Basic cleanliness is totally missing. There was dust, cigarette butts and used tissues all across the lobby. Moreover the rooms were also not cleaned. The cups, coasters and spoons were not changed. The linen had holes in them. The towels seemed unwashed and no hand towels were provided.
Breakfast spread was minimal and they did not even serve black coffee. Eggs to order had to fit in according to the very limited understanding of the waiter. I ordered an espresso and was served a bowl of sugar, coffee powder and a flask of hot water.
Most shocking was seeing the staff without masks.
There is no GM at the hotel and I strongly believe I put my life in danger staying in such casual and unhygienic conditions
