Among the worst hotel stays I have ever had.
When I checked in online to get my door codes (unmanned hotel) was the first time that it was made clear that all rooms share communal bathrooms. By then it was far too late to do anything about this or I would have changed hotels. But, with a tradeshow in town and walking distance to the venue being critical for me, I was stuck.
The next issue was the biggest problem - the shared bathroom was absolutely filthy from the moment I checked in to the moment I left. I am quite certain that the floor was never once cleaned, and the garbage was emptied only once in 4 days, when they gave a quick wipe-down to the sink, possibly. To shower I brought a plastic bag from some shopping I had done and stood in that, because honestly, the floor was roughly equivalent to the Men's room at Dodger stadium in the middle innings.
The location is extremely noisy. Many rooms (like mine) look directly onto a big metal wall. And, the air conditioning unit in the room was not operating correctly - for a couple days it went on and off, but for the last two it was full-power "ON" and the room was at 64°.
If you have no choice, and are willing to deal with horrible pillows, absolutely no amenities, and no one to fix anything that will go wrong, it certainly beats sleeping on the streets. But almost any other hotel would be a better choice.
