My cousin and I stayed at the Maldron Hotel this weekend for one night. The front desk staff were so friendly and attentive. We were able to access our room earlier than 3pm which was great and were met with a beautifully appointed room with two beds, closet space, a fridge and hot drink facilities. The bathroom was clean and there were plenty of towels, robes and slippers provided. Overall the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The hotel itself was quiet and located within walking distance to markets, cafes and restaurants. The hotel has a restaurant and bar where we enjoyed a drink. The lobby area is comfortable and inviting. We would definitely return for a staycation.
Hotel was decent, if a bit sterile. I find the check-in kiosks a bit impersonal but I understand this is the way a lot of hotels are going these days. As a newer hotel, some design aspects haven't been fully road-tested, so I had an unfortunate encounter in the room with a mirror with a very thick frame that was mounted on a corner, which resulted in an injury to my face and a trip to A&E. The manager seemed interested in investigating an rectifying the issue, but it was an expensive lesson for me between the ubers to hospital and treatments I will need to minimise the scarring. I will stay elsewhere in future.
El hotel en general estĂĄ bien pero nosotros hemos reservado una habitaciĂłn para mis dos hijos y yo y el espacio no era el adecuado para dormir y dejar nuestras cosas personales.
Room and location was very dirty. White towels with blood stains. Management not friendly, ran us out of the lobby for eating there. Front desk personnel were nice. We left our first day to do touristy activities and came back to cleaned room with all of our snacks thrown away. Some were not opened. No apology or reason given for doing this.
Booked for a long couples weekend in London at the tail end of a larger trip. In hindsight we may have booked a slightly bigger room, as two 20kg bags and two people were stuck for space.
That said, the hotel room was really comfortable, bed really clean and heavy blankets, and despite the lack of space is still perfect for a short stay when youâre out and about overall.
We didnât try the breakfast as we felt the price a bit high considering there are some nice spots nearby, and the gym was really well fitted out for a short stay.
Overall and really comfortable hotel, with everything youâd need for a weekend trip.
