Check-in was a half hour process due to confusion between the hotel and on-line booking with Hotels.com. Room was clean but was quite surprised of the lack of basic amenities. There were no cups provided and I was told by housekeeping that the hotel does not provide cups of any kind, not even disposable. So if you have medications to take, plan on bringing some bottled water. Our room that I shared with a co-worker, had two queen beds that. However, the hotel only provides one bath towel, so they must expect you to share or ask for another one. Common sense would say that 2 beds requires a minimum of 2 bath towels. We had no room service the entire 5 days we were there. No beds made, no fresh towels provided and no cups :( The 2 elevators were constantly going out of service; our group was stuck in one as we were trying to leave for a game and we had to pry the doors open to get out. The hallways and elevators reeked of marijuana smell to the point I had to check the laws to see if it was legal in Texas, which it wasn't. A complaint to management was no help as they said there was nothing they could do about it, although folks were actively smoking dope in front of the entrance to the hotel. Overall, I am very surprised that this property is affiliated with Hilton as I would expect a much higher standard based on past experiences. Very disappointed.
