6/10 – Goed

Good but room for improvement

Linen & towels spotless. Comfy bed. Kitchen reasonably well equipped. Problem with WiFi password, had to contact the host. Generally clean apartment but lots of small maintenance jobs needing attention let the place down.

6/10 – Goed

While the location was amazing and the overall apartment was cute and a decent stay, the bedding smelled so dirty. I told the service at the end of the stay - not even considering to tell them during about bedding as it’s not a hotel - and they offered no support. A week after my trip, I noticed bites all along one side of my body. I went to urgent care and they confirmed I had mite bites. The only place my body was exposed, was that bed in the apartment. Mite bites show up 1-3 weeks after exposure so that was definitely where they came from. I showed all the proof to the service and they still offered no support. Will NOT be booking with them ever again.

4/10 – Redelijk

The flat smells like burning rubber we kept the upstairs windows open all day and night because it smelt toxic. There were double sheets on a queen size bed / sheets don’t fit - you end up sleeping on the mattress. Stained bath mat Managing agents did not provide us with the correct internet password in check in which was a very frustrating and time consuming way to begin our stay. Spent close to two hours communicating w their landline number and on email while I had no internet. It made for a very negative first impression. No one ever called me I had to do the calling being out on hold on US number and speaking to 3 different people. The wrong key code was also communicated to us via email. Only one key available - for a 2 bedroom flat. There is a piano positioned at the bottom of the stairs which makes it very hard to access the stairs with a suitcase. Bedrooms/ bathrooms are upstairs.
