The InterContinental is the only other Hotel I have stayed at three times. Clearly, Hotel Nik is not a Five Star facility, but it exceeds expectations with an exceptionally trained staff across reception, luggage, housekeeping, and importantly, breakfast. (The only thing that would improve what is a fantastic breakfast buffet would be the inclusion of a proper juice bar). While I want a sense of adventure during my Vietnam travels, it is also true that when at my hotel, I want to feel safe, welcome, very comfortable, well fed for brekkie, and in a location convenient to the hot spots for eating and getting around: Hotel Nik achieves all these things. The staff are the most genuine I've met not just for greeting or check-in, but across the entire operation of the hotel.
