We travel alot and stay at LaQuinta often with our pet. We have been pleased with them after their recent upgrades.
This location however, suffered terribly, due to the staff. They were seruously understaffed and with several trips to the front desk, including checkin, i never waited less than 10 minutes to have someone greet me. My wife later told me when she wanted access to the pool area that the key did not work, so she went to the front desk. Apparently, you have to go to the front desk for the only clerk in the building to walk you to the pool to admit you. This is likely one reason there was never anyone at the front desk
Later on, the internet went out. I had to call the desk t times before getting anybody on the phone. The gentleman seemed nice enough, but had such a thick indian accent, that I could not understand him. I gave up trying to figure ot out and waited a few hours for it to come back on.
They have modified the carts so they wont fit through a door. It was inconvenient to have to load the cart in the hall, leaving posessions unattended for breif periods.
Overall, not a great experience there.
