As an expatriate, one of the perks of living in Europe is the travel. A recent three-day weekend consisted of a short drive to The Netherlands and Belgium. The town is located minutes from the German border. Situated above the restaurant, which you walk through, are cozy and modern rooms.
Locally owned, the proprietor and his wife are exceptional hosts. Additionally, the friendly staff offered suggestions for sightseeing. The area is peaceful, not too far from Roermond and its shopping outlet. Overall, most of the Dutch people I have encountered are engaging.
