My wife and I stayed here after a long flight, unfortunately my wife was ill during the flight and when we checked in but the young guy on the desk went out of his way to help us up to our room. Also the staff were very helpful when we had to call an ambulance the next morning as her condition worsened. If this rating was down to the people (staff) it would easily get 5 stars. I gave the hotel 4 as there are some things that could improve:
- Have a wheelchair for accessibility needs
- A lot of the machines (ice maker, drinks machines) did not work. That’s fine, but the hotel should not wait until a customer tells them, they should do periodic checks to ensure everything is available.
- The breakfast was ok, but there were no healthy options such as fruits. Again the juice machine was not working or the ice/water machine, and the coffee machine in the dining area. When we asked one of the waitresses, she struggled with English, shrugged her shoulders and said “no electic”. That was her full explanation with no further support in doing something to ensure the customer has a solution or alternative to the problem. To be fair, after I informed the reception about floor 4 ice machine was not working, it was fixed in 5 mins. In summary the reception staff and the maintenance man were excellent in helping us in an unfortunate personal situation. Thank you
