complain regarding my recent stay at Ginger Mumbai Andheri on 14th Feb. Unfortunately, my experience was unsatisfactory due to a malfunctioning air conditioning unit in my room.
Despite reporting the issue to the hotel staff, I was assured that the AC would begin cooling within 10 minutes. However, this did not happen, and upon making a follow-up call to the reception, no further action was taken. Staff were not helpful in the dining room specially at breakfast. It took them half an hour to make 2 toast. They were not prepared to make fresh tea when we request.
Our stay was not worth what we paid for it unfortunately. We had high hopes since we heard a lot of good things but it was very unclean. One of the pillow covers had stains on it. There was mold in the bathroom and it didn't look like the room was disinfected.
Rooms were clean so was the wasroom. Room service was available multiple times a day.
I've got almost nothing to complain about. Nothing worth mentioning in this review anyway. Recommended.
Reasonable place, good location, basic plus.
Free wireless in the room is useless.
Customer Service agent are stretched all times. They can employ more people to address customer needs. Long lines at the counter any time of the day.
You have to ask for everything otherwise they donât give.
Horrible experience. The staff was rude and unfriendly. They asked me for Ids for someone who came to visit. That may be a rule that I did not know. They want all original documents like Adhar, passport, OCI, etc. How do they store it? - taking a photo on their phone! I was very uncomfortable sharing these personal documents because of that. but they refused to give entry without that. Later, they were extremely rude to me. I clarify this just because the review is not only based on this check-in experience. They allow bookings on an hourly basis and I saw people (couples) coming, just mentioning the room no. and taking keys to go up. What is going on? I felt uncomfortable with family and kids.
At night, these are the sounds of people walking at 1-2 AM.
If there is a way to upload photos - The bathroom had flies coming from the drain. The meeting room wall had fungus. It was a mistake staying here.
The Staff and employees were polite, respectful and cooperative but the room facilities required essential maintenance like Internet, Aircondition, TV, etc daily services and for our major stay there only One elevator was functioning and we were compelled to make use of the stairs.
Poor reception. It took 30 minutes to check in. She couldnât find the booking and we kept waiting after long flight. Rooms were not clean including toilet. Only good thing the breakfast was ok. The manager at front desk didnât even bother to say hello or smile. Will never go back to this hotel
Check in was very slow, girl typing info on a laptop took almost 30 mins, not fun after a long flight. We were two people so asked for 2 keys, she refused and gave only one which was very inconvenient because elevator also required key. Air conditioning is horrible. When you leave the room all power shuts down in room so 100-105 F humid temp makes room so hot that when you come back it takes couple of hours to cool down. Also it wonât cool down to your desired temp, seemed like the hotel had it controlled to not go below certain temp, I was sweating all night and couldnât sleep. Although hotel is relatively clean, secured and closed to airport I would definitely not choose this property again. Also like to mention that breakfast was good for the price
